The Guardian E60-240 fire resitant roller shutter provides a protective barrier in the event of a fire. They also double as a security shutter solution and are suitable for use every day.
All made to measure in the UK to the latest British and European standards the E60-240 is available with a 60, 120 or 240 minutes fire rating.
We offer a range of control options for the activation of the shutter in the event of a fire as well as normal every day opening and closing.
All of the above parameters are followed by a time limit in minutes. The number after a given symbol shows the time the performance criteria is fulfilled during a standardised fire test, eg. EI120, EW60, etc.

The movement system is composed of two galvanised steel brackets on which the tube is mounted. The brackets are fastened to the wall with bolts and locking plates.
To ensure the stability of the movement system, a galvanised steel diagonal brace is fitted to the ends of the brackets. The drive shaft that rolls the curtain up and down is located between the brackets.
The fire resistant roller shutters come standard with a 400V chain wheel motor. If the dimensions of the fire resistant roller shutter are small, a 230V tubular motor can be fitted. The roller shutters are fitted with a control unit and safety brake as standard.
If the fire-resistant roller shutter is fitted with a chain wheel motor, an optional fail-safe drive system can be installed to close the shutter in a controlled manner using gravity in the event of power failure.
For fire-resistant roller shutters with a tubular motor, an emergency backup battery can be optionally installed to allow the shutter to continue operating in the event of power failure.

Transparent security roller shutter provides an 85% unrestricted view through the shutter. The shutter consists of horizontal strips of virtually unbreakable crystal clear polycarbonate, connected by aluminium hinge profiles. Heavy aluminium guide profiles retain the polycarbonate strips and a rubber bottom strip buffers the shutter on closing.
Transparent shutters are generally specified for retail shop windows, exhibition areas and arcades. In such locations the transparent shutters provide the dual benefits of out of hours security plus 24 hour customer access to the shop window display. The aluminium strips and side profiles can be powder coated to any RAL colour, to match existing shop front paintwork or corporate colours.

Designed for retail and commercial applications the CR-RG is an electrically operated roller grille powered via an internal single phase 240 volt tubular motor.
The roller curtain is constructed from aluminium tubes with an overall diameter of 12mm x 111mm, link sections of 70mm x 3mm (other sizes available) held together by galvanised steel rods of 8mm diameter.
The grille curtain is available in a brick bond or inline pattern.

A fully functioning external shutter with resistance to weather and wind forces, security and good heat insulation, it opens at a speed normally only achieved by PVC roller doors - 2 metres per second.

T244 uses a timber lath in white oak, red oak, utile (mahogany), white ash, maple, red cherry and Colombian pine with an insert of either grey, black or blue plastic, stainless steel or aluminium. (Other insert options may be possible – please consult our sales department).
Due to the nature of this combination lath, this shutter will always be supplied with a factory finish to suit your own requirement.
Our T134 rolling grille, manufactured using our T134 (25mm) moulding where each alternate lath is omitted for a space of 229mm x 25mm to form an attractive single spaced grille effect, or with two laths removed for double spacing of 229mm X 50mm.
Guides are supplied in matching timber although they can be supplied in aluminium if desired.
We will always attempt to source other timbers as required. Laths are connected by steel aircraft cables concealed within the laths or by continuous zinc plated chain hinge on our T234 lath when over 2000mm clear high.
